Having a ball with the cousins!

Sorry I have been M.I.A, but we have been on vacation for 2 weeks. First it was Atlanta for 5 days to visit my brother-in-law and his beautiful family, and then off to the beach! We are still here at the beach, so I will have some great pictures for you tomorrow. I am headed for bed! Miss you guys!

I could not get Mallory to understand that the microphone did not go all the way in her mouth like a straw! The kids put on a dance show for us, and it was adorable!

Great Ebay finds

Are these not the cutest bathing suits ever? I found these on EBAY new with tags for $14.99 each! I guess I could be sweet and give you the seller, but then I would be bidding against all of you sweet ladies and they would go way up! OK, I will list my favorite Ebay sellers on a post this week. Smocked dresses for $20.00 all new with tags! It is an addiction, so BEWARE!

These pictures were post pool. Now they look like beach babies! They get their tan skin from Daddy!

Allie Grace

Why are we so quick to teach these precious children to walk! Miss Allie Grace is into everything. She walks, runs, and climbs on everything in site. That is probably why I am losing weight. I can't keep up with her. That, and the fact that I joined the gym on 5-13, and have only missed 3 days of working out. Yeah Me! OK, here are some pics of sweet Allie.

"Here I go again. Come and get me before I grab more flowers and stick them in my mouth, or dirt, grass, maybe some rocks...

Greenville Zoo

We had our first play date of the summer on Tuesday, and the girls had a ball! We went to the Greenville Zoo with my sister Lauren and her precious little ones.

Mallory, Krew and Madi
Lauren holding my precious niece, Kaiden.

Krew would not stop eating the crackers that we bought to feed the animals. It was hilarious. I guess boys will be boys!

Mallory was so concerned about the elephant being dirty! I have created a monster.

Allie has a new toy!

Allie Grace with her new toy! It looks so funny to see her little body riding around on that 4 wheeler!
This is Allie Grace claiming HER toy!

This is Mallory not listening to her little sister!
Next time I will get a picture of Allie Grace riding. I was too busy walking right beside her the entire time. She did do a great job, and pushes the button to make it run all by herself!

Surgery #2

Guess where I was last night? Mallory started bleeding and had to go back into surgery about 8:30 p.m. . They put her to sleep and cauterized the sores. Mallory was so dehydrated, they had to put the IV in her leg. He tried her foot first, but missed. It was awful! We have no idea what caused the bleeding, but the Dr. said it does happen a lot in children. We are all back at home and resting comfortably, for now. Today starts all medicines, diets, and restricted play, back to day 1. This has been a nightmare.

YUK!!!

Poor Mallory has caught an infection from the surgery. I was always told that you get an antibiotic with any sort of mouth surgery, but my Dr. did not prescribe her one. Her fever got as high as 102.99 Saturday morning, and she has been miserable ever since! I phoned the Dr. on-call, and thank God he prescribed her Omnicef that minute!
They are not kidding when they say that it gets worse before it gets better. This is the 6th day, and it has been our worst! I just gave Mallory her meds, so Mommy is going to try and get some rest! I will post an update tomorrow, and hopefully it will be better!

Greenville Falls

Thank you all so much for your sweet comments! Bill and I are definitely praying about having another baby, but for now, we enjoyed a peaceful day at The Falls with the girls. Bill and the girls gave me a surprise party at my moms on Sunday, and I ate 2 pieces of my favorite cake, Red Velvet! YUM!
I hope everyone has a great week, and say a prayer for my Mallory on Thursday, she is having her tonsils removed.

Not so Happy Birthday to me!

Today has been an awful b-day, and it is only 1:30. This morning I woke up bleeding, and immediately phoned my doctor. The nurse told me to come in right away, so my wonderful sisters and mother took care of the little girls and off I went. After an ultrasound, blood work, and a pelvic exam, I did indeed miscarry. All I could do was sit there and cry. Bill is in Florida, so I had to phone my husband and tell him that we had lost the baby. I am so sad. I was shocked about this pregnancy, but I was also very happy. I know I have been blessed with 4 beautiful healthy girls, but my heart still hurts, and it leaves me so confused! I didn't realize how much I really wanted another baby. Do I maybe try again later, or is this God letting me know, that maybe I need to be done? I wish he had an audible voice.

Slow down!

I just came across this picture, and it always cracks me up! Mallory is holding on for dear life, and Madison could care less, as long as she gets a good smile for the camera. My sweet girls. You know a boy will not make it in this house with all of these girls! They would give him Pink Piggies!

Mom and Me

I wanted to share with you a few pictures from The Greenville Woman's Music Club luncheon. My mother is President and Co-Founder, and I was so proud and honored to be her guest. Thank you Mom for a wonderful afternoon!

My dress was way too big, and I had to keep pulling my scarf over my chest so I would not embarrass my mom by hanging out at the Woman's Club! I look like I was expecting a snow storm! Little did they know, I am expecting something, but it's not snow!!!!

I need a new blog name!!

Alexandrea Grace 3/19/08 I can not believe I will be doing this again, but I sure can't wait! Yes I am pregnant! Bill and I are very shocked, and we were not planning on having any more children. I will be 35 on April 23, and he is gone ALL THE TIME with work, but obviously God's plan is bigger than ours. I just gave all of my maternity clothes away, and donated all of Allie's bottles, and a crib, to Goodwill. It always seems to happen that way, doesn't it?! I am getting mixed responses from family and friends (because I will now have 5 kids), but all I can think about are those ladies that can't even have children. I also think about my blog friends Lori and Carolina Girl that have been waiting and waiting for that special little baby girl, that God has led them to adopt. This reminds me that I am truly blessed to not have any trouble getting pregnant. I want to take this opportunity to thank God for blessing me with 4 beautiful, healthy daughters, and I pray daily for baby #5. I have been blessed more times than I deserve, and for that, I thank God daily! Have a great week ladies.
I guess now I need to figure out how to get that baby ticker for my blog. I also want to have a poll to guess boy or girl! I would bet on pink !

Happy Easter!

I hope everyone had a great Easter. Bill flew in on Thursday and stayed until Monday. We had a great time, and great food! We had lunch at my sister's house and then enjoyed MANY egg hunts! We are having so much fun here in SC , and I am so blessed to have such wonderful family around me! Have a great week!
The lighting is horrible, but it is the only one of the entire clan!
Momma with all of her chicks!
Allie looks so tiny sitting next to her Daddy!

My sweet Mallory! Her tonsils are scheduled to come out April 29th.

Mallory cracks me up with that smile. I think Allie is about to fall asleep, and Madi is so ready to dig into her Easter candy she has hiding in her hand!

Thursday, April 2, 2009

These girls are keeping me so busy. Thank God we are still in SC so my family can help me out. Allie Grace is scheduled for a VCUG next week. Madi has an appointment with a cardiologists on April 8th because the Dr heard a swooshing sound in her heart when she had a check-up and Ashlyn has an ultra-sound Friday to check on her kidney reflux, and poor Mallory has now been scheduled to remove her tonsils this month because they have almost completely closed her airway! Bill flew up last weekend, and will be coming again tomorrow. He is already in Tampa. Thank God all of my family lives within minutes. This has been one HELL of a 2 weeks! I will let you know how my babies do next week.

Update

They released Georgia to me last night, so she is at home resting! Poor baby. She is feeling much better, but not yet 100%. The Dr said she had pancreatitis. No more feeding her from the table! The girls always give her their left overs or crumbs, and over the years, I believe it was way too much for her little belly! Thank you all for your sweet comments and prayers!

On a good note- Today is Miss Allie Grace's birthday! 1 year old! Many pics to come, I promise!

Sweet Georgia

Please say a prayer for our sweet Georgia. She is in the hospital with Hemorrhagic Gastroenteritis. When I woke up this morning she was bleeding from her bottom and vomiting. I honestly thought she was dead. They are keeping her to give her meds and fluids, and I will know more in the morning.

More snow to come!

They are calling for more "wintery mix" here at my sister's house, so we broke out Georgia's sweater!
This is Andrea's front yard . She and her husband built this house with my Dad and a few of Mike's police buddies. We have pictures of my sister on the roof with her nail gun! Yes, we are night and day :)

Georgia would not look at me. I think she is a little upset about the sweater.

Have you missed me?

Well, we made it to South Carolina. We left Florida and the neighbors were swimming, and when we hit Greenville, there was the snow! The girls are having a ball visiting with the family. My Dad came to get the girls and took them to my nephews baseball practice. They came home and were covered in dirt and red dust! They also rode in the back of the truck(just down the street) with my older sister. I guess that's a Southern Thang! We are having a great time. More pictures to come. Bill is already in Tampa working, so we are enjoying some play time.

Filthy from the ball field, but having a ball with Aunt Dee!
Yes, I do let them play and get dirty! Look, NO BOWS either!

Mallory wants her hair in a pony tail everyday now! Too cute!
