Mallory's preschool teacher gave her a Birthday party at school today since she started 2 weeks after her actual B-day. I thought that was so sweet, and she was beyond excited!

Madi is officially off the waiting list, and now in Pre-K! We are all thrilled about that! :) Here she is on her first day!

The back of these pants are my favorite. Those pockets are just adorable. Sorry about the quality of my photos, I am searching for a new camera :)

I know my girls look like a bunch of spring chickens, but I have realized that when you live in Florida, all of the wardrobe rules go out the window!

Bill and I walked into the kitchen, and this is what we found. Mallory was putting all of her candy in a line, so she could "count it"! It went through the entire house.

Thankful

I am so thankful to have my girls here with me. I know you have all heard about the little girl, Somer, who was walking home from school, and never made it. That is 15 mins from my house, and now there is a child killer on the loose. I can not imagine what that mother is going through right now. Today I will pray for that mother, and the siblings she left behind. As I sit here and type this, the trash is being collected outside, and just the sound of that truck makes me cringe. That monster dumped her body in the trash.

Gracious God, in the vulnerability of a child, we recognize our own fragility. In their tender innocence, we are reminded that life is meant to be lived with curious and joyful abandon. Help us, who are no longer children, to retain the freshness of childhood and to be the protectors and mentors of those whose lives are just beginning. May we see in their eyes the clear window of heaven. Guide us in the ways to keep all children safe and in your great love, O Lord, hold them in your peaceful embrace so they are not overcome by loneliness, fear, or danger. We ask this for the sake of your love. Amen.

1st day of preschool

It seems like most of my posts have been about Mallory lately, but she is the one that has had a very busy week! This was her very first day of preschool! Yes, it is 8:45 am and she is eating a turkey hot dog (minus the bun). She loves them, so whatever I can get in her for breakfast, I do it :)

I don't know if you remember, but not long ago I helped my baby sister on a photo shoot, and we had a ball! Well, here are the results, and SHE MADE THE COVER!!! WHOOHOOO! Way too go Lauren, you look beautiful, as always!

Crazy days

It has rained the past two days here, and I forgot how MUGGY it was! I was trying to take a picture of the pool for you, but I am not a good photographer, so my pics are really bad. I love that we back up to a conservation area, so no building there, ever!

Not only do I have to decorate the inside, but now I have to go buy new patio furniture to go out here! So much to do. Notice the mulch bags. On my to do list along with planting those plants that line the outside of the pool. Oh how I wish I could just buy everything from Frontgate!
With all the rain, these little bugs have spent so much time up here...

On the move...

Well, I have been spoiled long enough being here in Greenville with my family , and now it's time to go home. We will be moving back to Florida on Wednesday into our new house, and the girls are thrilled. We are 15 mins from here...

Happy Birthday sweet girl!

Ashlyn turned 10 on 9-11! Yes, it is 9-25, but I just got my camera back from ATL.

I was hoping that we did not embarrass her at school, but she loved it! It was on all sides of my car windows.

They grow up so fast!
Ashlyn told me on Thursday that she was allowed to take cupcakes for her b-day on Friday, so she needed 27 for school in the morning! The stuff below saved my life! It was awesome, and yes I did bake 30 cupcakes at 9:30 p.m. Thank God for the help of my mother. Mimi mixed and I poured and frosted.

It's GAME TIME!

My family KNOWS how to spend Saturdays! You do not plan anything during football season, if you want anyone to show up! Weddings, showers, birthday parties (better be on Sunday) because they will all be in Death Valley, watching the best tradition in college football... those Clemson Tigers running down the hill! Go Tigers!!! Don't you just love Saturdays in the Fall?!

Over a month without blogging... Shame on me! This past month has been crazy! Here are a few pictures of what we have been up to lately, enjoy!

* Helping my little sister Lauren on her photo shoot for an upcoming magazine! Thanks Josh and Lauren, that was a super fun day of fashion and photography!

Congrats to Lauren, who is also the new face for Breakaway Honda! Be on the lookout for her commercials airing now! Way to go, my soon to be famous sista!

My little sister Lauren, did a fashion show for Augusta Twenty last month and I was so proud of her, I wanted you all to see!

Sorry I have been M.I.A, but we have been on vacation for 2 weeks. First it was Atlanta for 5 days to visit my brother-in-law and his beautiful family, and then off to the beach! We are still here at the beach, so I will have some great pictures for you tomorrow. I am headed for bed! Miss you guys!

Great Ebay finds

Are these not the cutest bathing suits ever? I found these on EBAY new with tags for $14.99 each! I guess I could be sweet and give you the seller, but then I would be bidding against all of you sweet ladies and they would go way up! OK, I will list my favorite Ebay sellers on a post this week. Smocked dresses for $20.00 all new with tags! It is an addiction, so BEWARE!

Why are we so quick to teach these precious children to walk! Miss Allie Grace is into everything. She walks, runs, and climbs on everything in site. That is probably why I am losing weight. I can't keep up with her. That, and the fact that I joined the gym on 5-13, and have only missed 3 days of working out. Yeah Me! OK, here are some pics of sweet Allie.

Greenville Zoo

We had our first play date of the summer on Tuesday, and the girls had a ball! We went to the Greenville Zoo with my sister Lauren and her precious little ones.
