Greenville Zoo

We had our first play date of the summer on Tuesday, and the girls had a ball! We went to the Greenville Zoo with my sister Lauren and her precious little ones.

Mallory, Krew and Madi
Lauren holding my precious niece, Kaiden.

Krew would not stop eating the crackers that we bought to feed the animals. It was hilarious. I guess boys will be boys!

Mallory was so concerned about the elephant being dirty! I have created a monster.

Allie has a new toy!

Allie Grace with her new toy! It looks so funny to see her little body riding around on that 4 wheeler!
This is Allie Grace claiming HER toy!

This is Mallory not listening to her little sister!
Next time I will get a picture of Allie Grace riding. I was too busy walking right beside her the entire time. She did do a great job, and pushes the button to make it run all by herself!

Surgery #2

Guess where I was last night? Mallory started bleeding and had to go back into surgery about 8:30 p.m. . They put her to sleep and cauterized the sores. Mallory was so dehydrated, they had to put the IV in her leg. He tried her foot first, but missed. It was awful! We have no idea what caused the bleeding, but the Dr. said it does happen a lot in children. We are all back at home and resting comfortably, for now. Today starts all medicines, diets, and restricted play, back to day 1. This has been a nightmare.

YUK!!!

Poor Mallory has caught an infection from the surgery. I was always told that you get an antibiotic with any sort of mouth surgery, but my Dr. did not prescribe her one. Her fever got as high as 102.99 Saturday morning, and she has been miserable ever since! I phoned the Dr. on-call, and thank God he prescribed her Omnicef that minute!
They are not kidding when they say that it gets worse before it gets better. This is the 6th day, and it has been our worst! I just gave Mallory her meds, so Mommy is going to try and get some rest! I will post an update tomorrow, and hopefully it will be better!
