This is our foyer, and next year I will have a tall skinny tree with all brown ornaments in the corner. After putting up 5, I am done. 2 of the 5 are small, but the younger girls take the ornaments off at least once a day, so it gets very tiresome decorating over and over. Finally, I realized, they just like the lights, and that's OK with me!
