"I do it myself"

Today we went to the library for Kids Rocking Readers. The sweetest little elderly lady reads to the kids and then they get to pick a treat out of the treat box. Last Friday, there was a little girl there who had dressed herself. Madi told me that next Friday, she was going to dress herself! " Ok Madi, yes, now go get a treat sweetie". Well, she did not let me forget! Here is her outfit! The scarf is from her snowman!

Here is proof that I let her go just like she was! I didn't even add a bow, but she added her Barbie mittens(82 degrees today)!

Someone else had to get in on the fun! Mallory did pretty good with the dress! That's my girl!
That is a harmonica in her hand! I have heard that thing for days! Dear Lord can we misplace it!? Have a great weekend!

Oh my goodness! I can't believe you let them out of the house.
You're a much better mommie than I was :) I'm proud of you.
I love you,

Oh boy, do I remember those days...it is so cute when they are young, but my daughter is 9 and when she puts her outfits together now I have to step in and make some recommendations otherwise she would wear jeans(same pair everyday, tank top(no matter what the temps are) flip-flops! Her hair is just about 2 ft long and it wouldn't bother her a bit if it hadn't been brushed! It is fun though to see their sense of fashion....I am jealous of your 82 temp:)

I just stumbled across your blog, and noticed that one of your girls is named Ashlyn. So beautiful! That's my daughter Rachel's middle name, and I've never heard of another Ashlyn. Wish it could have been her first name, but alas, the hubby overruled that!

Thanks for stopping by my blog! My sister-in-law that lives in Largo says the same thing about putting up decorations in hot weather and sweating! I would like to do it just once in my life time:)
